Overview
The Hadong Wild Tea Cultural Festival is held every May in Hadong-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do, Korea’s first tea cultivation site. Designated by the government as an Honorary Cultural Tourism Festival, the festival celebrates Hadong’s wild tea, long renowned for its rich flavor and aroma and grown in the area’s pristine natural environment. Since hosting the Hadong World Tea Expo in 2023, Hadong has strengthened its identity as a “tea wellness culture city” and continued to enhance the value of its tea industry and culture.
